　　Many of his biological descendants discovered this fact after taking an online DNA test. Emmons-Burling told The New York Times that she discovered she was conceived with Dr. Jones' sperm after she took the Ancestry.com test and was contacted by a woman who claimed to be her half-brother. She said she dealt with a lot of guilt and said, "Because I took this test, it turned a lot of people's lives upside down.

　　Dr. Jones' patients were told they would receive a donation from a doctor or a medical student for fertility treatment, Dr. Jones and his legal team argued in previous court cases, "All mothers requested anonymous donations, and all mothers accepted anonymous donations.
